Acceleration is very fast and the fully loaded the Ranger Z 21 easily reaches 70 MPH, even with a large passenger and a boat full of fishing tackle. The ride is very smooth, even in very rough water. Using a Bob’s 10” jack plate and a hydraulic vertical lift, the Optimax 250 XS can be easily adjusted to maximize performance in a variety of conditions. Fuel economy is very good and the Hot Foot allows both hands to be used for steering.
